What are CBD moon rocks?

Moon rocks are one of the most concentrated CBD hash products that can be found legally in Spain. Their name, “moon rocks”, refers to their distinctive look: small, rounded, dense pieces with a sandy surface covered in trichomes that resembles moon dust.

The product comes from combining three different formats:

• Premium CBD buds selected from our best strains.
• High-concentration CBD extract, in which the buds are dipped.
• Hemp pollen (kief) coating the final piece, adding texture and extra potency.

The result is a hash with <73% CBD, ideal for people who already know more classic CBD hash such as Original hash 45% CBD or Iceolator 60% CBD and want to take a step up in intensity.

Moon rocks aroma

The aroma profile of moon rocks is one of the most complex in Cannactiva's CBD hash range. A deep earthy note dominates, inherited directly from the hemp pollen that coats them, with nuances on top that vary depending on the bud strain used: sweet, fruity notes if the base is Candy Krush (Zkittlez CBD), citrus touches when they are made with Vibration (Lemon Haze CBD), or more resinous, woody notes with Funky Monkey (Gorilla Glue CBD).

Look and texture

Unlike other types of hash, moon rocks come in rounded, irregular pieces. Their surface is covered in a layer of hemp pollen that gives them a very distinctive sandy texture to the touch. The piece is dense but keeps the structure of the original bud, which makes them visually unique in the world of CBD.

CBD flower strains used

The most important factor in getting quality moon rocks is the starting buds. At Cannactiva we always use our best premium flower, including:

• Candy Krush (Zkittlez CBD) — Sweet, fruity aroma with citrus notes.
• Funky Monkey (Gorilla Glue CBD) — Resinous, intense and woody aroma.
• Vibration (Lemon Haze CBD) — Fresh, vibrant citrus aroma.

The selection of strains may vary depending on availability and season, always keeping Cannactiva's characteristic premium standard.

How they are made

Making Cannactiva's moon rocks is a three-step, handcrafted process:

• Bud selection: we hand-pick top-quality CBD hemp buds.
• Extract bath: the buds are dipped in a high-concentration CBD extract so that they absorb the cannabinoids and increase their purity.
• Kief coating: finally, they are coated in fine hemp pollen, which adds an extra layer of trichomes and raises the total concentration to <73% CBD.

Keeping and storage

To preserve the aroma and potency of CBD moon rocks, we recommend storing them in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Good storage lets the product keep its properties for months without losing quality.

A hash for intense experiences

Moon rocks <73% CBD are designed for collectors and CBD hemp enthusiasts looking for a premium product, with a higher concentration than Bubble Hash 45% CBD and a completely different texture. If you want to explore the full range of CBD hash, you can also try Dry sift pollen 45% CBD, with a more classic profile.
