Ingredients and formula

The Active Gel formula combines the effectiveness of cannabidiol with botanical extracts that are classics of sports massage and with menthol, which provides the cooling effect from the first application.

Cannabidiol (CBD)

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural component of hemp (Cannabis sativa). Applied topically, it is one of the most widely used actives in physiotherapy and sports massage creams and gels, where it blends easily into concentrated formulas.

The Active Gel provides 1,000 mg of cannabidiol per 70 ml container and 4,300 mg per 300 ml container, a high concentration for a topical CBD cream. The amount of cannabidiol per millilitre is the same in both sizes (≈ 14.3 mg/ml).

Arnica and St John's wort

Arnica is one of the most widely used extracts in massage creams and gives a soothing sensation to tired areas after exercise. Hypericum, also known as St John's wort, completes the botanical base of the formula.

Devil's claw and mimosa

Devil's claw is a common botanical extract in sports massage creams. Mimosa adds a gentle touch and enhances the feeling of comfort in tired muscles after exertion.

Menthol, rosemary and eucalyptus

Menthol is responsible for the instant cooling effect when you apply the gel. The essential oils of rosemary and eucalyptus add a fresh aroma and complete the product's refreshing profile.

What is Active CBD Gel used for?

• Before exercise: with a vigorous, toning massage to prepare the area.
• After sport: on tired muscles and joints after physical activity. Ideal as a CBD cream for athletes.
• In deep-tissue massages and physiotherapy sessions: its light texture and fast absorption make it convenient for professional use. The 300 ml size is designed for physiotherapists and massage centres.
• After a hard day's work: for a targeted massage on the back, legs, knees, arms or neck.

For a complete sports massage, combine it with the CBD sports massage oil, which helps your hands glide and adds a fresh aroma of mint and wintergreen.

How to apply

Apply to the back, legs, knees, arms or neck, massaging until fully absorbed: vigorously before exercise and gently afterwards. It can be used whenever you like, including daily. For topical use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds or irritated skin. Wash your hands after use. As with any new skincare product, we recommend testing it first on a discreet area of skin.
