The Cannactiva Mikado game is a classic game of skill that comes with 41 bamboo sticks — a light, strong material of natural origin — with a fresh take on the rules built around the five elements of nature. A traditional pick-up sticks game, with Cannactiva's unique identity.

Presented in a cardboard box with an exclusive illustration by Jan Barceló × Cannactiva: collectable packaging that turns the game into a work of art.

The Cannactiva Mikado: five elements, one winner

Each stick represents an element of nature, with its own score:

• 🟡 Suns (yellow), our source of energy — 2 points
• 🟢 Waters (turquoise), the emotions that give life — 3 points
• 🔵 Airs (dark blue), breaths of wisdom — 5 points
• 🔴 Earths (red), the roots that hold us up — 10 points
• 🟢 The sacred plant, the Mikado (dark turquoise) — 20 points

Whoever gets the Mikado — the sacred plant, the most valuable stick — gains a special power: they can use it together with their hands to pick up the other sticks. The game ends when there are no sticks left on the table. The player with the most points wins.

How do you play Mikado pick-up sticks?

The rules of the pick-up sticks game are simple; concentration and a steady hand are the real challenge:

1. Hold all the sticks in your hand and let them fall onto a flat surface.
2. Players take turns in a clockwise direction.
3. On each turn, pick up as many sticks as you can, one at a time, without moving any other.
4. You can also press the tip of a stick to free it.
5. If any stick other than the one you're trying to take moves, your turn ends.

Bamboo sticks and an exclusive design by Jan Barceló

The 41 bamboo sticks in the Cannactiva Mikado, the same number as the classic game, make for long, unpredictable games. Bamboo, a natural and sustainable material, offers a unique texture and feel, very different from conventional wood.

The packaging is a custom cardboard box with an exclusive illustration by Jan Barceló, an artist who collaborates with Cannactiva. A collectable design that brings together art, nature and the brand's identity.
