Spring is here! To celebrate, we at Cannactiva have prepared a new greeting for you. This season we're launching the new VEGA CBD flower (Sour Kush), which joins our Artist Series collection, with a fabulous illustration by @Asispercales.
What's more, in spring 2024 we launched the new challenge of the season: anyone who added the mini veg patch to their basket and shared it on social media got 2 grams of VEGA free (promotion now ended).

They tried to bury us, but they didn't know we were the seed
Somewhere in the world, a water carrier goes about his daily task of carrying water from a spring to his village, using two pots: one new and perfect, the other old and cracked.
One day, on one of his trips, the broken pot, unsure of its worth, asked the water carrier:
“Why do you keep using me, if I lose water through my cracks?”
The water carrier replied with a tender but wise smile:
“Look at your side of the path: your cracks spill drops that have been watering this trail of flowers. Your ‘flaws’ are gifts that make our surroundings more beautiful.”
From our differences and imperfections spring wonderful, unique opportunities to beautify and enrich the world.

About the artist: Asís Percales
Asís Percales is an artist, a coeliac and the son of first cousins. He was born in 1986 in Guájar Fondón, a small village in Granada. He had a happy childhood, with his family and close to nature. His artistic training took shape little by little, giving rise to a distinctive style.
Asís describes himself as a lad with a clear gaze, curious and likeable in equal measure. He is currently based in Barcelona, where he is emerging towards who knows where.

We hope that, while you prepare and look after your little garden, you enjoy pleasant moments of peace and relaxation. Sowing and watching the rhythms of nature is possibly the best gift of all.

Meaning of VEGA
“Vega” is a term meaning fertile plain, often found in low-lying areas beside rivers, where the soil is especially good for growing thanks to the abundance of water and nutrients.
With the arrival of spring, the vegas turn into true tapestries of colour and put on a show of reborn life and sounds. A symphony in which nature invites you to breathe deeply and enjoy. Warmer temperatures and spring rains awaken dormant seeds, and the vega, with its moist, rich soil, becomes the perfect place to be reborn.
Spring has inspired us!
Buried and silent, some think they are sleeping; others, that they are watchfully awaiting their moment. One day, the air, the sun, the water and the earth will suddenly call them. Then, in an act of innate courage, the seeds will break their shells, spreading their roots into the earth that holds them and their shoots towards the sky that calls them.
Sowing flowers, you will never reap a fruit. The concentration and effort of the plant on its seeds, the time to germinate and take root, the search for light, the connection and adaptation to the environment, are what finally allow it to flower and bear fruit.
Every seed has the potential to transform the landscape.
The metaphor of the germinating seed symbolises the cycles of life, renewal and the beauty of the growth and transformation inherent in nature and in ourselves. Like seeds, sometimes we don't know whether we are asleep, or whether something is about to arrive. Look after your garden, and trust in life!
