As we do every autumn, we like to welcome the new season with a special greeting, illustrated by Àfrica Fanlo, a new exclusive flower and a new gift: Cannactiva's hemp infusions. This time we've been inspired by the world of dreams to launch ONIRIA (Amnesia CBD), Cannactiva's new special edition flower, which we're sure you'll love.

Cannactiva's autumn 2024 greeting
This autumn's beautiful postcard is illustrated in the bright colours of the season, which paint two snakes. Snakes, able to shed their skin, symbolise renewal and personal growth. They represent leaving the old behind to make way for the new, inviting us to transform ourselves and embrace the opportunities of this new season.
This is the text on the postcard:
If you don't know the answer, stop asking.
The true arrow, before it is loosed, waits still and silent. That way it can better sense the whisper that tells it where to go.
Releasing and letting go is the best way to receive.
The emptier the glass, the more room there is to fill.
Like the seeker who longed for peace and, after travelling a thousand paths without ceasing, fell exhausted and had to rest. And it was there, just like that, that he found calm.
Close your eyes to see. Forget yourself to remember yourself. Sleep to wake up.
Surrender to the power of Oniria, and she will grant you her immensity.

Meet África Fanlo, the illustrator behind the postcard
This season at Cannactiva, we've drawn inspiration from the world of dreams, guided by África Fanlo, our guest artist. With an established career in children's illustration, África has developed a voice of her own, full of symbolism and colour: a unique style that is evolving towards more personal, dreamlike themes. The illustration features snakes as an ancient symbol of transformation. By shedding its skin, the snake represents the change of season: autumn invites us to let go of what we no longer need and to prepare the ground for the new.
África Fanlo graduated in Fine Arts in Barcelona and began her career in children's illustration more than two decades ago. Since her first steps in publishing in 2003, her work has appeared in more than 50 children's books, working with renowned publishers both in Spain and abroad. Her sensitive, detailed approach connects with people in a unique way, capturing their imagination with magical characters and landscapes full of life.
Her work has been recognised on numerous occasions, winning awards such as the Junceda in 2004 and recognition from Spain's Ministry of Culture in 2015. In recent years, África has begun to delve further into her personal work to explore more personal and abstract themes. Inspired by the world of dreams, her recent work is steeped in elements that allude to the subconscious and to transformation. Illustrations that invite viewers to explore their own emotions and let themselves be carried away by the unknown.
Happy autumn, Cannactivist
We hope this inspires you to dream and to explore the depths of ONIRIA. Happy autumn and happy brewing, Cannactivist!
