ELEN CBD flower (Northern Lights)

Buy Northern Lights CBD online — Cannactiva

Elen comes from Northern Lights, one of the most influential strains in the history of cannabis. It opens the Artist Series Autumn 2026 collection as a unique, limited-edition strain, selected for its aroma profile and exceptional quality.

Northern Lights CBD aroma

Elen has an earthy, damp and vegetal aroma, combined with spicy, intense and pungent notes. These notes dominate the profile over a resinous base and give it character and warmth. In the background come ginger notes, fresh and slightly citrusy, which round off the whole. Experience the aroma of Elen, the best Northern Lights strain in CBD: pure autumn.

The Northern Lights strain

Northern Lights is a unique strain. It was born in the late 1970s in the Seattle area, on the west coast of the United States, from the seeds of an Afghan landrace. It reached Europe in 1985 and has been part of modern cannabis ever since.

What made it famous was its structure: dense buds, a short flowering time and extraordinary resin production. The resin is so abundant that it is still one of the benchmark strains for artisanal extraction.

That combination made it the benchmark for modern indicas. Its mark lives on in the lineage of Super Silver Haze, Hash Plant, Shiva Skunk and countless later hybrids. Elen brings back the Northern Lights heritage in a CBD version, grown from EU-certified hemp seeds. A strain with this kind of history rarely makes it into a premium CBD flower.

Elen · Artist Series collection

The Artist Series is Cannactiva’s exclusive collection of unique, limited-edition strains, selected for their one-of-a-kind character and produced in small quantities. Each CBD hemp bud is hand-selected and hand-trimmed. Slow drying and artisanal curing preserve the aromatic complexity and the dense structure of the bud.

With Artist Series, Cannactiva reaffirms its commitment to local artists — each edition is a meeting of art, nature and premium CBD. Elen is the star of the autumn 2026 edition, illustrated by Marcos Navarro. The name comes from Elen of the Ways, the figure from Welsh tradition who guards the paths and forests. It also plays on the double meaning of Northern Lights: the aurora borealis, the light that guides you through the northern night. An aurora borealis in flower form.

If you like the earthy, spicy profile of ELEN, you may also be interested in FËNIX (Fire OG), intense and deeply resinous; BUBBA DREAM (Platinum Kush), a potent indoor with an earthy, spicy character; MELLOW (MAC & Cheese), smooth and earthy with a fruity background; and MARULA (Fruity Bliss), a spectacular fruity, resinous strain.
